Dwyane Wade Injury: Multiple Ailments May Keep Heat Guard Out Of Action

While Dwyane Wade's sprained ankle was the most notable of his injuries, it's not the only thing affecting the Miami Heat star. On Sunday, Wade was receiving treatment for numerous ailments, including his severely rolled, but not fractured, right ankle.

Miami head coach Erik Spoelstra called Wade's status day-to-day and said the Heat are taking a wait-and-see approach.

"He's up walking around ... but we're not going to put a timetable on when he'll come back," Spoelstra said. "Thankfully, he's not in a cast or a boot. So we'll see how he responds each day, and we'll go from there."

In addition to the sprained ankle, Wade is also suffering from a strained calf and bruised left foot. He's already missed three games this season dealing with his other ailments, but Friday's ankle injury seems to be the most severe of his problems at the moment.

Wade himself even gave an update on Twitter earlier on Sunday.
