The surging Oklahoma City Thunder travel to the TD Garden to take on the Boston Celtics, who are on a four-game losing streak.
The Boston Celtics have lost four games in a row and are three games under .500 on the season as they welcome in the surging Oklahoma City Thunder. The Thunder have lost just twice this season and bring a six-game winning streak to the TD Garden in Boston. Kendrick Perkins, who the Thunder picked up in a trade with the Celtics last season, will get to face off against his old teammates. From the looks of it, Perkins is in a much better situation on a young Thunder team rather than the older Boston club, who's clearly showing their age as of late.
The Celtics welcome in the Thunder in the midst of a four-game losing streak and have struggled to adapt to the NBA's new condensed schedule due to the NBA lockout. The Celtics are averaging just under 90 points per game, and even with their defense they'll need to score more than that to beat the Thunder on Martin Luther King Day.
The game tips off at 8:00 p.m. on Monday night at the TD Center in Boston. The game will be aired live on the TNT network.
