Dwyane Wade's Birthday Party: Because The Heat Will Never Change

Screen_shot_2012-01-17_at_4

To help celebrate Dwyane Wade's 30th birthday, there was a lavish party with scores of celebrities at an uber-hip area hotel, Setai South Beach. That alone is a very Miami Heat thing to do. But that's just the beginning. There was also the $230,000 McLaren that was airlifted onto a platform in the middle of the South Beach pool as Wade, Rick Ross, LeBron James, Chris Bosh, and Usher looked on. And that might be the most Miami Heat sentence of all time.

Star-divide

TMZ has the details (via CBS Sports):

Dwyane Wade got a SICK $230,000 sports car at his 30th birthday party in Miami this weekend -- but the most impressive part of the gift is how it was AIRLIFTED into the hotel pool without a scratch. The car is a brand new 2012 McLaren MP4-12C -- given to him for FREE by the owner of a local luxury car dealership. Wade is the brand ambassador for that particular dealership.

To review: Not only did obnoxiously rich Dwyane Wade get an obnoxiously expensive sports car airlifted onto a pool during his birthday party, but he got it for free. Obviously. It wouldn't a true Miami Heat story if it didn't enrage you and make you insanely jealous all at the same time.

Or maybe you'd rather look through a gallery of the Mavs celebrating the 2011 NBA Title on South Beach. Or maybe just enjoy Jason Terry, chillin with a victory cigar on the plane back from South Beach. Cuz f**k the Miami Heat, ya know?

This reminds me of the huge party Larry Bird had after he won all those championships.
