The Miami Heat are hosting the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night and to mark the special occasion, they went all-black everything. Thursday night's matchup will be the only trip the Lakers make to South Beach this regular season, and in an apparent effort to show something different, Miami broke out a fresh set of uniforms.
Gone is the red that's typically a staple of the Heat's regular uniforms, replaced by white piping and somewhat of a ghost look around the Miami on the front of the jersey. It's pretty much a sporting tuxedo, in other words.
Here's a look at the jerseys from the promo material the heat sent out ahead of Thursday's game.

*Note Dwyane Wade is not playing and is in street clothes. This photo is a collector's item.
And for a view of the Miami jersey's in action, here's Josh McRoberts giving LeBron James a forearm shiver and drawing a technical foul in the process.

To offset the all-black look, Craig Sager is wearing a turquoise blazer with light purple accents, because why not?
