The Minnesota Timberwolves' only lead of their Friday game against the L.A. Clippers heading into the final seconds was at 2-0, but here were the Wolves, knotted up at 98 with 1.5 ticks left. Though Minnesota could have won with a two-pointer, Rick Adelman drew up a gang pindown, with Ricky Rubio and Wayne Ellington screening DeAndre Jordan off of Kevin Love, who sprung at high to take the pass from Luke Ridnour.
Love, wide-open for three? Butter.
Everyone in a Wolves jersey is beside themselves with glee ... except for Serbian Gangster Darko Milicic (who had a great game). The casual fist-pumps from Darko are just perfect.
The Wolves are now 7-8, but unfortunately in the deep West you'll need to be well over .500 to get a playoff bid. (The Wolves are in 11th place in the West right now.) Meanwhile, the No. 7 team in the East is 6-8. Free the Wolves!
