Nuggets Vs. Knicks Final Score: Danilo Gallinari Leads Denver To 2OT Win, 119-114

Danilo Gallinari scored a game-high 37 points as the Denver Nuggets fought off the New York Knicks in double-overtime, 119-114. The Nuggets used a short bench, using just seven players, all of which played significant minutes in a game that stretched into double-overtime.

After Gallinari made one of two free throws late in the fourth quarter, Carmelo Anthony knotted the score at 98 with a deep two. Al Harrington's last-second shot to tie was off-the-mark, sending the game to overtime.

The Nuggets and Knicks went back-and-forth throughout the extra frame, with neither team able to grasp hold of the game. Anthony again came up with a big shot, draining a two with just over a minute to go to give the Knicks a 105-103 lead. After the teams traded empty possessions, Nene drew a foul, calmly sinking two free throws with nine seconds to go to knot the game back up, forcing a second overtime.

Finally, the depleted Nuggets were able to take control in the second overtime frame, and it was Gallinari doing the dirty work. The former Knick rattled off the Nuggets' first seven points of the period, then sealed the game with two free throws as time was winding down.

Gallinari played a whopping 52 minutes, finishing the game 9-of-19 from the field and a superb 18-of-20 from the line. Al Harrington added 24 points and 11 rebounds off the bench, and Andre Miller chipped in 14 points and 12 assists.

Anthony scored a team-high 25 points in the loss. Landry Fields and Iman Shumpert each added 18 points.
