Stay connected with SB Nation

The Chicago Bulls fell to 8-1 at home in the United Center on Wednesday night with a 95-90 loss to the Indiana Pacers. The loss also snapped a four-game winning streak the Bulls had entering the contest.

The Bulls were without Luol Deng for a second full game, and his wrist injury will keep him out for some time. In his absence Ronnie Brewer has taken over and he delivered a 20-point, 10-rebound game on Wednesday. He also distributed the ball for five assists and stole the ball thrice. Derrick Rose put in 24 points and Joakim Noah had a double-double of 10 points and 13 rebounds from off the bench.

The Pacers, though, relied heavily on Danny Granger and Roy Hibbert who scored 22 and 20 points, respectively. The combined for 17 rebounds as well. Hibbert added four blocks to defensively dominate the Bulls. All five starters scored at least 11 points, and off the bench Tyler Hansbrough puts in 10 points and grabbed six rebounds.

The Bulls remain at home for a Friday contest against the Milwaukee Bucks. The Pacers will visit the Boston Celtics on Friday.
