Andrew Bogut Injury: Bucks Center Fractures Ankle, Out Indefinitely

Andrew Bogut is out indefinitely with a fractured ankle, the Milwaukee Bucks announced.

Jan 26, 2012 - The Milwaukee Bucks won their seventh game of the season on Wednesday night, but may have lost Andrew Bogut for a lengthy period of time. In Milwaukee's 105-99 win over the Houston Rockets, Bogut got tangled up early, leaving the game in the first period with what was deemed a sprained ankle. He was seen in a boot after the game, but further tests revealed something a bit more significant than a sprain.

According to ESPN's Marc Stein, Bogut fractured his left ankle and will be out indefinitely.

Without being a medical expert, it would seem fair to assume Bogut will be on the shelf for quite some time. Ankle fractures are serious business and take quite some time to fully heal -- especially for an athlete, who puts plenty of strain on the joint.
