Andrea Bargnani Injury: Raptors' Forward Out Indefinitely With Calf Injury, Team Announces

Andrea Bargnani will be out "indefinitely" with a calf injury, the Toronto Raptors announced.

The Toronto Raptors picked up a big overtime win in Utah over the Jazz on Wednesday night, but may have lost their star player in Andrea Bargnani in the process. The team announced that Bargnani will be out indefinitely after he reaggravated his left calf injury in the Raptors' win. Via ESPN's Marc Stein.

Bargnani had already missed six games this year with the same injury. He returned to the lineup for the last two games, both Raptors wins. The Raptors play the Denver Nuggets on Friday night, so Bargnani will not play then.

Bargnani is in the midst of a breakout season, as he is averaging 23.5 points and 6.4 rebounds per game on 48 percent shooting.
