Jan 29, 2012 - The Houston Rockets picked up a big win on Saturday night at home against the New York Knicks as guard Courtney Lee scored 14 points and swiped four steals in the 97-84 victory. Following the game, however, Lee was involved in a serious car accident.
Lee was unharmed in the incident. As he explained Sunday in a text message to the Houston Chronicle, "The other driver ran a red light doing like 100 mph." Lee also sent a Twitter message to his followers about the accident, thanking Cadillac's airbags.
Thanking God right now!!! Thanking Cadillac for airbags!! Without them I could have lost my life tonight and two others close to me🙌🙏☝👏

Lee has played four seasons in the NBA, two with the Rockets, as he looks to secure a foothold in the Association. He's performed admirably as a starter in the past couple of games for the Rockets as he fills in for an injured Kevin Martin.
