Delonte West Banned From The White House: A Public Service Announcement

The Dallas Mavericks will be visiting the White House on Monday, but Delonte West won't be with him. He'll be in the general vicinity of the White House, sure, but he won't be joining his teammates. Why, you ask? Because of a 2009 traffic stop in which he was arrested for carrying three guns in a guitar case.

Take it away, Mr. West.

"That's what happens when you make bad decisions in your life. You can't go to the White House.''

↵

[...] "I live in D.C. It's going to be ashamed the President isn't going to get a chance to meet me. I'm the president of my house.''

Emphasis mine, because it's an awesome line from West, who has hopefully learned his lesson. Hear that, kids? If you ever want to visit the White House, stay off the Secret Service's naughty list. Either way, though, you can be the president of your own palace.
