The New York Knicks are looking for their third straight victory since their loss to the Charlotte Bobcats last week.
When the New York Knicks and Charlotte Bobcats met last week, the Knicks' defense was poor while the Bobcats shot the ball well in a 118-110 win at the Garden. The two teams meet again at Madison Square Garden on Monday night, where the Knicks will be looking for their third straight win.
New York has won both of their games since losing to Charlotte to get to 4-4 on the season, and it looks like they might be relying a bit more on rookie Iman Shumpert going forward. He started on Saturday in place of Toney Douglas, who is shooting the ball poorly.
Charlotte is now 2-6 on the season after losing their two games since playing New York. They were exceptionally poor shooting the ball on Saturday in a 97-77 loss to the Indiana Pacers, where they shot 32.6 percent from the floor. The Bobcats managed just 28 points in the second half of that game. All eyes will be on rookie Kemba Walker, who has been extremely hot and cold to start the season.
Game Date/Time: Monday, Jan. 9, 7:30 p.m. ET
Venue: Madison Square Garden, New York, New York
TV: NBA TV
