Kevin Love took batting practice prior to the Twins game and launched one home run into the upper deck.

Minnesota Timberwolves power forward Kevin Love already has a 3-point contest title to his name and if he ever decides to take up baseball he might add a home run derby title as well.

Love took batting practice prior to the Minnesota Twins game on Monday and showed he has some power. He turned on a pitch from Twins manager Ron Gardenhire, sending it into the upper deck of Target Field. The home run can be seen in the video below from Doug Erlien of KMSP in Minneapolis.

Love also spent some time in the outfield running down fly balls. At 6'10, Love doesn't look like your average centerfielder, but the added height might help him rob a home run or two. Either that, or he could stick to his day job. You know, the one where he 26 points and 13.3 rebounds per game at last year while also winning a gold medal.
