The Oklahoma City Thunder and Utah Jazz highlight a Western Conference dominated slate in NBA preseason action on Friday.
It will be a busy Friday in NBA preseason action, with seven games on the slate. The Western Conference will take center stage, with the game between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Utah Jazz highlighting the lineup.
Three other games featuring Western Conference foes are on tap beyond the marquee. Top overall draft pick Anthony Davis will be in action again, as his New Orleans Hornets will take on Jeremy Lin and the new-look Houston Rockets. Davis has impressed thus far, averaging 14.7 points and 8.7 rebounds in three preseason victories.
In the other West games, the Denver Nuggets and San Antonio Spurs will meet in a clash of styles. Out in Phoenix, the Suns will continue to try and move on from Steve Nash when they take on LaMarcus Aldridge and the Portland Trail Blazers.
Elsewhere, the Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers will face off on the campus of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in a battle between division rivals. The Minnesota Timberwolves will take on the Indiana Pacers, and the Toronto Raptors will host the Detroit Pistons.
