NBA preseason scores: Conley Jr. shines in Memphis win

Mike Conley Jr. hit all five of his three-pointers as Memphis defeated Atlanta.

The Memphis Grizzlies improved to 2-1 in the preseason after a 110-102 win over the Atlanta Hawks (1-2) on Sunday. Mike Conley Jr. led the way for Memphis with 18 points, including a 5-for-5 day from beyond the arc.

In the loss, Al Horford came off the bench to score 13 points for Atlanta.

The San Antonio Spurs (3-1) knocked off the Houston Rockets (2-1) 116-107 on Sunday night. Rookie Wesley Witherspoon led all scorers with 17 points in the game for the Spurs.

Rockets rookie Donatas Motiejunas came off the bench to tally 16 points and eight rebounds in the defeat.

In the final game of the day, the Los Angeles Clippers (1-2) defeated the Miami Heat (1-2), 99-89. DeAndre Jordan was a perfect 8-for-8 from the field on his way to 18 points for Los Angeles.

LeBron James and Chris Bosh each had 11 points in the loss to the Clippers.
