There were six NBA preseason games Monday -- three in each conference. Take a look at the results from Monday's NBA action.
There were 12 NBA teams in preseason action Monday, with three Eastern Conference matchups followed up by three Western Conference games.
The Brooklyn Nets, in their first game in Barclays Center in Brooklyn, beat the Wizards, 98-88. Brook Lopez led the way for the Nets with 18 points and 11 rebounds, both game highs. Martell Webster led the Wizards with 18 points of his own.
The Philadelphia 76ers beat the Boston Celtics, 107-75. Spencer Hawes led the way for Philly with a game-high 17 points with eight rebounds. Boston was led by Paul Pierce, who put up 16 points and six boards of his own. The Sixers managed to shoot nearly 49 percent from the field, while Boston shot just 38 percent and committed 20 turnovers.
The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Orlando Magic in overtime Monday, 114-111. Second-year point guard Kyrie Irving led the Cavs with 22 points, while Anderson Varejao controlled the boards for Cleveland with a team-high of eight rebounds.
Glen Davis led all scorers with 27 points.
Down in Texas, the Dallas Mavericks took care of business against the Houston Rockets, 123-104. Houston was playing without Jeremy Lin due to a scheduled day off. First-year Mavs guard O.J. Mayo scored 20 points to lead Dallas, while Kevin Martin led all scorers with 23 points in a losing effort.
The Denver Nuggets were winners against the Golden State Warriors, 104-98. Danilo Gallinari put up 18 points to lead Denver, while Stephen Curry scored a game-high 25 points.
Also, the Sacramento Kings took down the Portalnd Trail Blazers, 117-100. Marcus Thornton scored 23 points for the Kings. Rookie Damian Lillard had 20 points to lead Portland.
