Brooklyn hosts Philadelphia and the Lakers look for their first preseason win Friday night.
The Brooklyn Nets suffered their first loss of the preseason Thursday night to the Boston Celtics, 115-85. They look to rebound Friday night at home against their Atlantic Division rival Philadelphia 76ers in a matchup of two teams off to 3-1 starts and high hopes for the upcoming regular season in the Eastern Conference.
It'll be the second meeting between the two teams this preseason. They played Oct. 13 in a game won by Brooklyn, 108-105, in overtime. That was the franchise's first as the Brooklyn Nets, in a game incidentally played in Atlantic City, N.J., their old home state. Brook Lopez scored 19 to lead the Nets.
Friday night's game will be televised by the YES Network, just part of a busy Friday-night schedule around the league. Elsewhere, the Los Angeles Lakers (0-4) look for their first preseason win when they host the Sacramento Kings, the Thunder host the Suns and the Trail Blazers host the Warriors.
Here's Friday's complete NBA preseason schedule. All times are Eastern:
New York Knicks at Toronto Raptors, 7 p.m.
Indiana Pacers at Orlando Magic, 7 p.m.
Philadelphia 76ers at Brooklyn Nets, 7:30 p.m.
Minnesota Timberwolves at Chicago Bulls, 8 p.m.
Phoenix Suns at Oklahoma City Thunder, 8 p.m.
Sacramento Kings at Los Angeles Lakers, 10 p.m.
Golden State Warriors at Portland Trail Blazers, 10 p.m.
