The Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors wrap up a six-game NBA preseason slate on Monday that features four Western Conference matchups.
The Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors cap off a six-game NBA preseason slate on Monday, with four of those six games involving Western Conference teams.
Golden State has played well this preseason, compiling a 5-1 exhibition record. However, that record is marred by yet another injury to guard Stephen Curry. Curry injured his surgically repaired right ankle on Friday night and will be held out of the Warriors' last two preseason games.
Elsewhere in the West, No. 1 draft pick Anthony Davis will look to continue his strong preseason when the New Orleans Hornets take on the Dallas Mavericks. Davis has led the Hornets in points and rebounds this preseason, posting averages of 15.3 points and 8.3 rebounds.
Also out West, the Portland Trail Blazers will host the Utah Jazz. The Blazers have gotten excellent play out of rookie point guard Damian Lillard, who is averaging 16.0 points and 5.5 assists this preseason. And finally, the Phoenix Suns will host the Sacramento Kings.
In the East, the New York Knicks visit the Philadelphia 76ers as they prepare for a couple of weeks without Amar'e Stoudemire. The power forward is sitting because of a cyst on his knee.
The other East matchup of the night is between the Toronto Raptors and Milwaukee Bucks up in Canada.
Here's the full schedule:
Milwaukee Bucks at Toronto Raptors 7 p.m. ET
New York Knicks at Philadelphia 76ers 7 p.m. ET
New Orleans Hornets at Dallas Mavericks 8:30 p.m. ET
Sacramento Kings at Phoenix Suns 10 p.m. ET
Utah Jazz at Portland Trail Blazers 10 p.m. ET
Golden State Warriors at Los Angeles Clippers 10:30 p.m. ET
