Gary A. Vasquez-US PRESSWIRE
Thursday's preseason schedule matchups feature a nationally televised game between the Clippers and Nuggets, an 11 a.m. tip-off for the Charlotte Bobcats, and a trip to San Diego for the Lakers.
Four games are on the docket for the second-to-last night of preseason play Thursday, including a nationally televised game.
Preseason action tips off with a rare morning tip-off, as the Milwaukee Bucks and Charlotte Bobcats start at 11 a.m ET, around the same time teams typically would be practicing or shooting around. The Bobcats' website bills the game as a "Cool School Field Trip", explaining the unusual start time.
The Portland Trail Blazers and Utah Jazz square off in what will be the final matchup of the exhibition schedule for both squads in Utah at 9 p.m. ET.
The last TNT game of the preseason will be between the Los Angeles Clippers and Denver Nuggets, in a 10 p.m. ET game that will also be the last for each of these squads.
The Los Angeles Lakers may have Dwight Howard, Steve Nash, and their typical cast of characters, but they've lost all seven of their preseason matchups so far. They'll try to get a win - or more likely, they won't try - before the real season starts as they head to San Diego to face the Sacramento Kings with a 10 p.m. ET tip.
