Adam Morrison says he will retire if he doesn't make the Blazers' roster

Steve Dykes-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Could this be the end of the line for Ammo?

Adam Morrison is competing for a roster spot with the Portland Trail Blazers. The stakes are high. No, not for the Blazers, since it seems unlikely Morrison will actually help an NBA team on the court at this point. The stakes are high for Morrison, because this could be the end of his career.

From Chris Haynes of CSN Northwest (via PBT):

"I'm going to finish school and start coaching (If he didn't make the Trail Blazers roster) ... I did the Europe thing and it just wasn't for me," Morrison told CSNNW.com. "Not saying the (Europe) culture or anything like that, (or) the people, it just wasn't for me. So, yeah, if it doesn't work out, I'm willing to look myself in the mirror and say, 'I gave it a honest shot' and turn the page. Do something else."

Oh man, he is going to be the greatest YMCA pick-up player in the history of the greater Portland metropolitan area.
