David Stern took time to acknowledge those affected by the tragic storm this week. Unfortunately, he forgot the name of the hurricane.
Tuesday night in Miami, NBA Commissioner David Stern was on hand to present the Heat with their championship rings. Because when you win a professional sporting title, you get jewelry. But before he did that, he took time out to acknowledge those affected by Hurricane Sandy.
Sandy, as you surely know, has killed dozens of people, left millions without power along the Eastern Seaboard, and caused billions of dollars in damage.
Unfortunately, Stern asked to remember those "affected by the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath." The video:
