The No. 1 draft pick Davis was solid from the line, but Tim Duncan and the Spurs prevailed on Wednesday night.
Anthony Davis scored 21 points in just 29 minutes of play, but the veteran play of the San Antonio Spurs prevailed in a 99-95 Spurs win over the New Orleans Hornets on Wednesday night.
Davis shot 6-12 from the field and grabbed seven rebounds, and was also 9-9 from the free throw line on the night. But across from the rookie No. 1 draft pick was Tim Duncan, the top pick from 16 years ago.
