Tom Szczerbowski-US PRESSWIRE

Paul Millsap led the Utah Jazz with 34 points, and DeMar DeRozan had a game-high 37 as the Utah Jazz prevailed on the road in Toronto.

Paul Millsap scored 34 points on 11-of-16 shooting and made 3-of-4 from the three-point line as the Utah Jazz outlasted the Toronto Raptors, 140-133, in a triple-overtime thriller at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto on Monday night.

Utah (4-4) trailed by 11 in the fourth quarter and used a three-pointer from Al Jefferson to send the game into its first overtime.

The game lasted longer than three hours, and there were seven lead changes in the contest. DeMar DeRozan played a career-high 59 minutes and led all scorers with 37 points on 16-of-33 shooting from the field for the Raptors. Jefferson added 24 points and grabbed 17 rebounds for Utah, who used a 53.6 percent shooting night from the arc to survive the onslaught by Toronto.

Toronto (1-6) outscored Utah in the paint, 54-40, and narrowly won the rebounding battle, 52-46, but it wasn't enough to overcome the strong shooting performance by the Jazz. Toronto led the closely contested game by as much as 11, while Utah's largest lead was seven.
