The Miami Heat will likely be short-handed when they take on the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night, as it's looking like star shooting guard Dwyane Wade will be out with a sprained foot:

Wade suffered the injury on Monday in the Heat's 113-110 victory over the Houston Rockets, when he stepped on teammate Chris Bosh's foot. Wade later returned to the game, but he was noticeably limited. He received treatment on the foot Tuesday.
Wade has been dealing with a number of nagging injuries this season. He missed Friday's game in Atlanta with a cold, and also jammed his thumb on Sunday in Memphis.
On the season, Wade is averaging 18.4 points, 4.7 assists and 4.3 rebounds in 33.9 minutes per game. He is shooting 49.5 percent from the field.
Not having Wade would be a big blow for Miami against Los Angeles, as the Clippers are 5-2 and one of the better squads in the West. The Heat have also struggled somewhat on the road this season, posting a 2-2 mark heading into Wednesday's action.
