NBA schedule: Monday's games include a heavyweight clash between the Clippers and Spurs

Jayne Kamin-Oncea-US PRESSWIRE

Seven games on Monday feature conference battles and some of the best early season stories in the league so far.

On Monday night, the NBA will feature seven games across both conferences including the Orlando Magic visiting the Atlanta Hawks on NBA TV at 7:30 pm ET.

There are no cross-conference games as each game features two teams from the same conference.

The biggest game of the night will feature the Los Angeles Clippers and the San Antonio Spurs in San Antonio. The Clippers are a half-game behind the Spurs for the second-best record in the Western Conference and have won five straight games.

The Indiana Pacers visit the Washington Wizards with both teams desperately needing a win. The Milwaukee Bucks head to Charlotte to face the Bobcats in a battle between two teams who have surprised in the Eastern Conference so far this season. The Brandon Jennings-Kemba Walker matchup at point guard should be a good one.

The Denver Nuggets are reeling and their reward is a trip to play the Memphis Grizzlies, who are on an eight-game winning streak and currently hold the best record in the league. The Golden State Warriors take their all-of-sudden stingy defense to Dallas to face O.J. Mayo and the Mavericks. Mayo is finally scoring like scouts thought he would coming out of college.

The night ends with the backcourt of James Harden and Jeremy Lin going up against the loaded frontcourt of Al Jefferson, Paul Millsap and Derrick Favors when the Houston Rockets travel to Utah to face the Jazz.
