Andrew Bogut plans to return to Warriors lineup Saturday

Kelley L Cox-US PRESSWIRE

Bogut hasn't played in a game since Nov. 7.

Golden State Warriors center Andrew Bogut is targeting a Dec. 1 return to the court, barring any setbacks to his surgically repaired left ankle. Bogut played in four of Golden State's first five games this season but has not been on the floor since Nov. 7. The team decided at that time to give him more time to rest the ankle.

Bogut injured the ankle in January of last season, while he was still a member of the Milwaukee Bucks. He underwent surgery in April and missed the entire preseason with the Warriors as a result. He played in only 12 games last season thanks to the injury, and only once in his career has he been able to play in all 82 regular season games.

In the four games he played with Golden State this season, Bogut averaged six points and 3.8 rebounds. He has career averages of 12.6 points and 9.3 rebounds per game.
