The Pacers and Lakers face off in Los Angeles Tuesday, highlighting a night of five NBA games.
The Suns took the first matchup with Cleveland on Nov. 9, coming back from a 26-point deficit to win, 107-105. Shannon Brown was the star that night, scoring 12 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter, but every other night that role belongs to Goran Dragic. Dragic leads the Suns with 16.0 points, 7.1 assists and 2.1 steals in his first year with the team.
On the other side of the matchup, Kyrie Irving is out four weeks with a finger injury, and the Cavs are forced to look to alternative sources for offensive production. Rookie Dion Waiters has stepped up in Irving's absence, recording close to 20 points and four assists per game, compared with his usual 14.4 points and 2.5 assists. Anderson Varejao's superb season continues, as he enters Tuesday's game averaging 14 points and 14.1 rebounds.
Both Dallas and Philadelphia head into Tueday's contest with losses in two of their last three games. Jrue Holiday ranks third in the NBA with 9.2 assists, adding 18.6 points per game as well. But turnovers have hurt Holiday's performance, as he turns the ball over a league-leading 4.3 times per game.
O.J. Mayo and his recent hot shooting streak has kept the Mavericks treading water while Dirk Nowitzki is out with injury. Mayo is averaging 21.5 points per game, shooting an unconscious 53-percent from behind the arc.
James Harden and the Houston Rockets host the Toronto Raptors Tuesday looking to build on their current two-game win streak. Harden stands as one of the league's top scorers with 25.2 per game, but two separate three-game losing streaks have the Rockets at 6-7 on the season.
Toronto has also gone through losing streaks with two separate four-game losing streaks, the second of which is ongoing.
Kevin Love returned from injury for the Wolves last week and picked right up where he left off last season, averaging 24.3 points and 14.0 rebounds in his three games played. However, the results have not changed for Minnesota as they find themselves in the midst of a five-game losing streak.
The Kings stand at 4-9 on the season and near the bottom of the NBA in almost every statistical category. DeMarcus Cousins leads the team in scoring, with 16.1 points per game and rebounding with 9.6 per game, but Tyreke Evans is averaging only 3.6 assists per game and shooting 21 percent from behind the arc.

The Indiana Pacers have been without star forward Danny Granger this entire season and, as a result, their offense -- ranked 29th in the NBA -- has suffered. David West, with 16.6 points per game, and Paul George, with 15.2 points per game, have stepped up in Granger's absence but, with only three 100-point performances this year, the Pacers' offensive troubles are clear.
The Lakers have dealt with some problems as well, although theirs have been a bit more publicized. Head coach Mike D'Antoni is 2-2 with his new team, and the should-be dream-team Lakers sits at a disappointing 7-7.
