Trail Blazers vs. Wizards final score: Washington wins first game, 84-82

The Wizards finally get their first victory of the season.

For the first time all season, the Washington Wizards can celebrate a victory. After starting with a record of 0-12, Washington knocked off the Portland Trail Blazers, 84-82.

The game was tied at 82 before Emeka Okafor sank two free throws with 39 seconds remaining. Portland had two chances to tie it after that, but was unable to score.

While they finally won, things didn't come easy for Washington. The Wizards blew a 15-point fourth-quarter lead, but were able to recover.

Jordan Crawford was the leading scorer for Washington in the win, as he came off the bench to score 19 points. The Wizards also got 10 points and 10 rebounds from Kevin Seraphin.

The difference in the game was bench production. Portland was only able to get four points from its bench, while Washington had 46 points.

The Wizards will go for their second straight win on Friday when they play the Knicks.
