The Los Angeles Clippers managed to edge out the Minnesota Timberwolves, 101-95, behind the efforts of Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan.
The Los Angeles Clippers edged out the Minnesota Timberwolves by a final score of 101-95. The Clippers and T'Wolves engaged in a seesaw affair that witnessed multiple lead changes and plenty of dramatics, but the result was a Los Angeles victory that carried them to 9-6 on the season. Minnesota dropped to 6-8.
The Clippers held the Timberwolves to 38% shooting while shooting around 46% from the field. Chris Paul led the Clippers with 23 points and 11 assists, Blake Griffin put in 18 points and six rebounds, and DeAndre Jordan had a solid 14 points and six rebounds. Off the bench, Matt Barnes added 13 points and Jamal Crawford put in 11.
The Timberwolves were led by Kevin Love with 19 points and 12 rebounds, although he only made three field goals. Nikola Pekovic also put in a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Alexey Shved added 17 points off the bench, Luke Ridnour put in 13 points and seven assists, and Malcolm Lee put in 10 points and seven boards.
