Ten games are scheduled to take action on Saturday, highlighted by a pair of games between 2011 playoffs teams, when the Denver Nuggets head East to take on the defending NBA champion Miami Heat and the Utah Jazz travel South to take on the San Antonio Spurs.
It will be the back end of a back-to-back for the Denver Nuggets, who played the Orlando Magic on Friday, and the Miami Heat, who traveled back home from New York after squaring off against Carmelo Anthony and the New York Knicks in Madison Square Garden on Friday.
San Antonio has been resting since Tony Parker sank a game winning shot on Thursday against the Oklahoma City Thunder, waiting for the visiting Utah Jazz and their young roster. The Jazz will playing on the back end of a back-to-back, but will get a chance to beat the team that knocked them out of the playoffs last season.
