A pair of nationally televised games take focus in the NBA on Thursday night: Thunder vs. Bulls and Clippers vs. Blazers.
There are only two games on the NBA schedule Thursday night, but both games are intriguing matchups. In the first game of the night, the Chicago Bulls - leading the Central Division with a 3-1 record without injured point guard Derrick Rose - take on the Oklahoma City Thunder, who have stumbled a bit out of the gate with a 2-2 record.
The Bulls last played on Tuesday against the Orlando Magic, winning 99-93. Meanwhile, the Thunder last played on Tuesday against the Toronto Raptors, winning 108-88. The game will be held at the United Center in Chicago. Tip off is scheduled for 8 p.m. EST with national television coverage on TNT. The current odds, according to OddsShark.com have the Thunder favored by 2.5 points and the total at 190 points.
The nightcap will be a Western Conference showdown between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Portland Trail Blazers. The Clippers are coming off a victory against the San Antonio Spurs, the first loss they have had this season, 106-84. The Trail Blazers last game was a 114-91 loss against the Dallas Mavericks.
This game is scheduled to tip off at 10:30 p.m. EST from the Rose Garden in Portland with national television coverage on TNT as well. The odds in this game have the Clippers favored by one point and the total at 201 points.
