New Orleans Hornets' forward Anthony Davis hopes to play Friday, according to the Times-Picayune's Jimmy Smith.

Davis did not have any more concussion symptoms, Smith tweeted. Davis suffered a concussion in the first half of a Nov. 2 game against the Utah Jazz.

Hornets' coach Monty Williams said he hasn't made a decision whether or not Davis will play Friday against the Charlotte Bobcats.

Davis, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, has played two games with the Hornets this season. He's averaged 21 minutes, 14.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.

As a freshman at Kentucky last year, Davis averaged 14.2 points and 10.4 rebounds per game. Davis was named the AP Player of the Year.

Before leaving the game against the Jazz, Davis played 14 minutes. He was 4-for-6 from the field for eight points. He had six rebounds, a steal and two blocks.

Friday night's tipoff is set for 8 p.m. ET.
