Thunder vs. Bulls score: OKC outlasts Chicago, 97-91

Kevin Durant made back-to-back baskets in the final minute to lift the Thunder over the Bulls on Thursday.

Kevin Durant made consecutive baskets with under a minute to play in the game to lift Oklahoma City over Chicago, 97-91, on Thursday.

Russell Westbrook broke an 87-87 tie with a layup to give the Thunder a 89-87 lead with 2:03 left in the game. After the Bulls failed to score on consecutive offensive possessions, Durant extended Oklahoma City's lead to 91-87 with an 18-foot jumper from the left baseline with 46.8 seconds to go.

Taj Gibson answered with a jumper to cut the Thunder's lead to 91-89 with 35.1 seconds remaining, but Durant answered again with a fade-away at the top of the key to give Oklahoma City a 93-89 lead with 19.5 seconds left.

Oklahoma City was able to secure the win from the free throw line the rest of the way. As a team, Oklahoma City shot 20-of-21 from the stripe, including 19 straight to end the game.

Durant finished the game with 24 points and four rebounds on 11-of-19 shooting from the field.

Luol Deng led all scorers with 27 points.

The Bulls entered the fourth quarter with a six-point lead, 72-66, which was the largest lead of the game for either team until the final.
