The Heat improve to 10-1 at home this season.
The Atlanta Hawks had their three-game winning streak snapped by the Miami Heat on Monday night. The Heat prevailed at home with a 101-92 win.
LeBron James was in the middle of it all again, finishing with 27 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Dwyane Wade had 26 points of his own, while Chris Bosh had 14 points and 10 rebounds.
The Heat led by just two points at the half but were able to pull away over the final two quarters.
Al Horford played well in defeat, finishing with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Josh Smith led the Hawks in scoring with 22 points.
The Hawks could have taken the division lead with a win but instead find themselves 1.5 games behind the Heat. Atlanta also fell to Miami on Nov. 9, with a score of 95-89.
Miami will be back in action Wednesday when it hosts the Golden State Warriors, while the Hawks will be at the Orlando Magic on the same night.
