NBA schedule 2012: Grizzlies, Nuggets square off on ESPN

The Memphis Grizzlies and Denver Nuggts will square off on ESPN on Friday, as one of 11 games that day.

After a short slate of games on Thursday, 22 teams are set to be in action Friday, and there's plenty of big matchups to look out for. The featured game of the night will be on ESPN at 10:30 p.m. ET, and will feature the Memphis Grizzlies taking on the Denver Nuggets.

The Nuggets are lagging back in the Northwest Division, trailing three teams and sporting an 11-12 record, while the Grizzlies are playing excellent basketball at 14-5, behind only the San Antonio Spurs in the Southwest.

The only other game with its own time slot is the matchup between the Utah Jazz and the Phoenix Suns at 9 p.m. ET.

Starting at 7 p.m. four games will get underway, including a matchup between the struggling Los Angeles Lakers and the Washington Wizards. Other matchups include the Mavericks vs. Raptors, Warriors vs. Magic, Celtics vs. Rockets and plenty others.
