Marco Belinelli hit a jumper with 22 seconds remaining to give the Chicago Bulls a 83-82 win over the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday night at the United Center. The Bulls outshot the Nets, 44% to 38%, but the Bulls shot only 2-10 from three-point range.
Deron Williams led all scorers with 24 points, but shot only 5-13 from the field. Brook Lopez had 18 points and 10 rebounds for Brooklyn, and Joe Johnson chipped in with 16 points and five assists. Williams hit a three-pointer as time expired to make it a one-point margin.
Belinelli led the Bulls with 19 points, and Luol Deng had 17 points and seven rebounds. Carlos Boozer chipped in with 15 points and six rebounds, and Joakim Noah had 12 points and 10 rebounds in support.
The Bulls play again on Monday night, when they travel to Memphis to take on the Grizzlies. Brooklyn has to wait until Tuesday for their next game, when they host the Utah Jazz at the Barclays Center.
