Pacers-Bulls game suspended due to inclement weather

USA TODAY Sports

No word yet on when the teams will make up the game.

A snow storm ripping through Indianapolis has caused Wednesday's scheduled game between the Chicago Bulls and Indiana Pacers to be suspended. Snow is expected to fall until late tonight and, combined with wind blowing the snow around, traveling by car could be dangerous. Wind chills are expected to dip into the lower teens.

The teams haven't announced a make-up date for the game yet. The Bulls and Pacers have met just once so far this season, an 80-76 win for the Pacers on Dec. 4 in Chicago. The Pacers were carrying tons of momentum into this game, having won six of their last seven games with the lone loss coming against the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Bulls didn't take Christmas off but probably wish they had after a 120-97 loss to the Houston Rockets at the United Center. All five of Houston's starters finished in double digits and four finished with 20 points or more. James Harden led the way for the Rockets, dropping 26 points.
