New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony and guard Raymond Felton will both miss the Knicks game against the Suns on Wednesday with injuries.
The New York Knicks will be without forward Carmelo Anthony and point guard Raymond Felton when they take on the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET. Anthony is out with a knee injury and Felton will miss the game with a finger injury.
Carmelo hyperextended his knee on Tuesday in the Knicks loss to the Lakers. Anthony scored 34 points, but was seen limping after the game. He hyperextended his knee earlier in December and has missed a total of four games this season. Anthony is having one of his best seasons, averaging 28.5 points and 6.2 rebounds per game while shooting 43.4% from beyond the arc.
This will be the first missed game of the season for Felton. In his first season back in New York, he is averaging 15.8 points and 6.3 assists per game.
Jason Kidd will start at point guard in place of Felton and James White will start for Carmelo. Both Anthony and Felton are considered day-to-day.
