LaMarcus Aldridge had 25 points and 13 rebounds on 12-of-17 shooting from the field to lead Portland over Charlotte, 118-112, in overtime on Monday.
Nicolas Batum also had a double-double as he recorded 17 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists for the Trail Blazers while rookie point guard Damian Lillard added 24 points and nine assists.
Portland outscored Charlotte in the fourth quarter, 32-27, to send the game into overtime. The Trail Blazers have now won two games in a row in overtime to improve to 8-10 on the season overall.
Charlotte was led Ben Gordon and Kemba Walker, who had 29 and 22 points, respectively, while combining to shoot 18 of 35 from the field. Gordon was 8 of 12 from three-point territory off the bench for the Bobcats.
Byron Mullens had a double-double for Charlotte with 12 points, 12 rebounds and one block while Ramon Sessions added nine assists off the bench.
The loss was Charlotte's fourth in a row as they fell to 7-9 on the year.
