Heat Vs. Hawks Final Score: Miami Dominates Atlanta 107-87

In what has become an all-too-familiar sight in the NBA's post-lockout season, the Miami Heat dominated the Atlanta Hawks 107-87 on Sunday night.

Miami jumped out to a 30-18 first-quarter lead against a flat Atlanta team and the game never really got more competitive from there, despite the fact that it was being played on national TV.

Everything went right for the Heat, as none of their "Big Three" played more than 32 minutes in the first of a stretch of back-to-back-to-back games.

Despite limited playing time, both LeBron James and Chris Bosh recorded double-doubles while Dwyane Wade scored all of his 21 points in the first half.

Neither Joe Johnson nor Josh Smith could get anything going against an aggressive Miami defense, as the two combined to score 20 points on 9-25 shooting.

The brave souls who managed to stay with ESPN's telecast all the way through were treated to the NBA's version of the Senior Tour, with Atlanta rolling out Erick Dampier and Jerry Stackhouse while the Heat countered with a front-court of Eddy Curry and Juwon Howard in garbage time.

Heat Vs. Hawks Halftime Score: Miami All Over Atlanta, 63-41

The Atlanta Hawks, even without injured All-Star Al Horford, are a good basketball team. It's just hard to tell when the Miami Heat are playing as well as they did in the first half of their game with Atlanta Sunday night.

Everything has gone right for Miami in the first half, with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh combining for 45 points, 4 more than the entire Hawks roster.

This is the type of game LeBron must have envisioned when he rashly started counting championships last summer, with LeBron on pace for a triple-double, with 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists, while Wade has been scoring at will, getting 21 points on 7-11 shooting.

Nothing has gone right for Atlanta, as their lack of a true shot-blocking center has been exposed by Wade and LeBron's penetration while Miami's excellent team defense has locked down Josh Smith, shooting 3-10 from the field, and Joe Johnson, shooting 3-8.

At the half, the Heat lead the Hawks in Atlanta, 63-41.
