Read More: Al Jefferson (C - UTA), Gordon Hayward (G - UTA), Memphis Grizzlies, Utah Jazz
The Memphis Grizzlies have been good at home so far this season, but they didn't exactly put on a show for their fans on Sunday night. The Utah Jazz, who have been very poor on the road this year, played well for the entire game on both ends of the floor and grabbed their third road victory of the year, winning 98-88.
Gordon Hayward was at his best and led all scorers with 23 points. Al Jefferson was a monster in the paint, grabbing 15 boards -- 6 of them offensive -- while scoring 21 points. Memphis' starting five did plenty of scoring, but their bench gave them very little help. In 22 minutes, O.J. Mayo scored two points and failed to make a field goal.
Memphis drops to 14-14 on the year, while Utah is 14-12. Both teams are involved in the tight race in the middle of the Western Conference, and at the moment, Utah sit in eighth while Memphis are outside of the playoff places.
