Jeremy Lin Trades Couch Surfing For Trump Tower

Stay connected with SB Nation

To the victors go the spoils. Now that he's no longer a bench-warming scrub on the verge of being cut, Jeremy Lin is enjoying a significant upgrade in his housing situation, trading his brother's couch for an apartment on "the 20th floor of posh Trump Tower in downtown White Plains," a source tells the New York Post.

Lin hasn't actually purchased any real estate just yet -- he's still making the NBA's minimum, mind you -- but rather is subletting an empty apartment from ex-Knick David Lee. That's no surprise; Lin and Lee were teammates in Golden State last year, and Lee recently admitted he still spends half an hour each day talking with Lin.

It's not clear what Lin is paying Lee, but hopefully he's getting a good deal -- especially with season-ticket holders offering him apartments for free.
