Kings Vs. Knicks: Knicks Lead By Eighteen Points At Halftime

The New York Knicks have built upon their eight-point first-quarter lead to take a 54-36 lead over the Sacramento Kings into halftime of Wednesday night's game at Madison Square Garden.

Guard Landry Fields leads the Knicks with 11 points on four-of-five shooting and seven rebounds. Point guard and NBA sensation Jeremy Lin has six points, nine assists and just one turnover in 17 minutes. Forward Amare Stoudemire and center Tyson Chandler have nine points apiece as the Knicks continue to shoot well from the field, hitting on 20 of 39 (51.3 percent) attempts.

The Knicks also have a 25 to 18 rebounding edge in the first half.

For the Kings, guard Marcus Thornton is five-of-11 from the floor to lead the team with 13 points. Power forward DeMarcus Cousins has six points, but is just three-of-nine from the floor and leads the team with three personal fouls. Tyreke Evans, Jason Thompson and Jimmer Fredette each have four points for the Kings, who entered Wednesday night with a four-game winning streak at Madison Square Garden.
