Guard Landry Fields had 15 points, leading seven New York Knicks in double figures in their 100-85 win over the Sacramento Kings at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night.
Fields was six-of-eight shooting and added a game-high 10 rebounds in the win. Point guard Jeremy Lin continues to take the league by storm, adding 10 points and a game-high 13 assists in the win. The Knicks also got 14 points from Bill Walker and Steve Novak, two reserve who average six points per game this season. Amar'e Stoudemire and Iman Shumpert both added 11 points, while Jared Jeffries added 10 points on a night where the Knicks were 39-of-77 (.506) from the floor and held a 48-35 edge on rebounds.
For the Kings, point guard Tyreke Evans had a team-high 19 points on six-of-14 shooting, with forward DeMarcus Cousins adding 15 points. Isaiah Thomas added 14 points and Marcus Thornton added 13 in a loss that snapped the Kings' four-game winning streak at Madison Square Garden.
