Read More: Portland Trail Blazers, Los Angeles Lakers
The Los Angeles Lakers had a 29-7 lead on the Portland Trail Blazers after one quarter at the Staples Center tonight, and all they had to do was maintain it in the second quarter for a 52-30 halftime score.
The Lakers' starting lineup has decimated the Blazers, with all five starters 13 or more points to the good in plus-minus on the night. Andrew Bynum has 12 points and 12 rebounds, and Kobe Bryant has added 11 points of his own, though he's needed 12 shots to get them, but Steve Blake leads all scorers with 14 points off the bench
The Blazers matched the Lakers in the second quarter, with 23 points of their own, but that miserable first quarter hangs like an albatross. Nicolas Batum's 12 points paced Portland in the first half, but no other Blazer has more than six.
