Read More: Raymond Felton (G - POR), Portland Trail Blazers, Los Angeles Lakers
After the first quarter in Los Angeles, the Portland Trail Blazers trailed the Los Angeles Lakers by 22 points; after the second quarter, the margin was the same. But after an appreciably better third quarter, Portland's only down 14 points heading into the fourth quarter, trailing by an 80-66 score.
The Blazers have rallied in part because of their three-point shooting: Portland's made 11 of 18 threes on the night, and Nicolas Batum (18 points to lead all Blazers), Wesley Matthews, Jamal Crawford, and Raymond Felton have all made two or more triples.
The Lakers didn't exactly cool off in the third, with Kobe Bryant taking the lion's share of the shots and upping his game-high point total to 22. But after allowing seven points in the first quarter and 23 in the second, the Lakers gave up 36 to Portland in the third period.
