VIDEO: Oklahoma City Thunder Score Five Points In Less Than A Second

Stay connected with SB Nation

We know the Oklahoma City Thunder can score in bunches, but this is just a bit ridiculous. Thanks to a bit of good fortune and a bit of inattention by the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook combined to score five points in just about .8 seconds. It all came at the end of the half and was a nice swing for the Thunder, who had a skip in their step as they headed off to the locker room.

It all started with Russell Westbrook hitting a run-of-the-mill deep three with .8 seconds to go in the half. Andrew Bynum gathers the ball as both teams wander around not really paying attention. With a five-second call imminent, Bynum tries to offload the hot potato to Metta World Peace.

Except Kevin Durant was ready and waiting, leading to a steal and a jumper that just barely beat the buzzer.

Ignore the screams of "No good." Upon further review, it was good and the five points in .8 seconds sequence was complete. Achievement unlocked!
