Remember The Malice At The Palace?

Stay connected with SB Nation

Well well well, this is undoubtedly the best thing on the internet this week. For instance, did you realize that Tim Donaghy was involved in the most spectacular disaster the NBA's ever seen?

Tim Donaghy (NBA official): As long as [Artest and Wallace] were away from each other, we didn't think it would escalate.

Excellent work as always, Mr. Donaghy. And of course there's the Artest family:

Daniel Artest (Ron Artest's brother): I talked to Ron like 10 minutes after everything happened. It was just like a regular conversation. He said, "They threw something at me, so I went into the stands and handled it." ... We thought he would probably miss some games, like five games at the most.

Bless Jonathan Abrams for putting all this together at Grantland. Savor the insanity.
