Timofey Mozgov left Friday night's game after rolling his ankle early in the third quarter.
Timofey Mozgov had to be helped from the court on Friday night, unable to put weight on his left leg after apparently rolling his ankle. The injury happened as Mozgov was alone under the hoop, following an uncontested layup. Mozgov appeared to at least sprain his ankle, though any further injuries are still unknown.
The injury itself was somewhat of a freak thing. With nobody around, Mozgov appeared to just land awkwardly, crumpling to the ground in pain. He stayed down on the court for quite some time, writhing in pain, before trainers helped carry him to the locker room.
Here's a gif of the injury, from Jose3030.
Up until the injury, Mozgov had scored four points on two-of-three shooting in seven minutes for the Nuggets. He also had grabbed five rebounds, providing the Nuggets with a solid interior presence.
