VIDEO: Gerald Green Dunks, Is Looking Down At The Rim

This might be the dunk of the year. Blake Griffin's poster dunk was nice, but Gerald Green's dunk on Saturday night was excellent for other reasons. It was simple, sure, but the execution was just fantastic. The video will be something you just can't stop watching.

The Nets found themselves on a two-on-one break in the third quarter and Green was in perfect position for an alley-oop. He threw it down with style, jamming home a windmill, but that still doesn't capture just how ridiculous the dunk was. Simply put, Green looked like he was shot out of a cannon.

The first angle kind of catches it, but watch the rest. Pay attention to the close up of Green as he catches the ball. Look at his eyes and notice where they are. He's looking down at the rim. If he wanted, he could pucker his lips and probably give the rim a kiss.

This wasn't even a dunk content jam or something done in an exhibition. And yet, it probably could've won the dunk contest this year!
